William Blake's "Ancient of Days Setting a Compass to the Earth" (1794). The Ancient is named Urizen, not God, and is the embodiment of conventional wisdom and law, in Blake's own mythology. You could win a bar bet with that, or maybe a bottle of white wine. Many of Blake's pictures seem ethereal, only fitting because he was subject to visions his entire life. The prints of this have different versions of varying depth of color that he added as he worked on it. Like many unique artists of his time, Blake primarily worked as an engraver.
